Recycled hardwood has real charm, colour character and warmth. There is no need to add any stains to make it look good, It just IS good to start with! . The unique aged timbers are part of someones building for up to 50 years or more, before we get to recycle and reuse them for our artistic picture frames. We have some still in use in our home from 25 years ago when we first started. Say that about a cheap Ikea frame and smile about it!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis photo frame is made from Recycled Brown Gum and holds 20 normal sized photos; (6\"x4\" or 10cm x 15cm).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeing recycled, the frame will have nail holes and weathering from its previous life as part of someone's house. We try to keep any features in the timbers; grain, knots, divots, recycling marks, etc.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll our frames come with glass, backing board and strong hanging cords. The frames will hang vertically or sideways, for a really big feature on your walls. We often take our product pics before the glass goes in. There's a nice tree next to where we put the furniture oil on the frames and it just saves extra moving them all. We're often busy so we always want to save extra work!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe images are very easy to insert. Strong metal flex-points hold in the backing board and glass. You bend the flexi tabs to install or change the photos. There is a strong nylon hanging cord for hanging both horizontally and vertically. The flexi tabs can be bent many times. So, you can change the photos as often as you want. One customer with a young baby was changing them REALLY frequently! We guess that stopped eventually.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe recycled timber is sealed with Danish Oil for a flat natural finish to enhance colour and texture. You can add a new layer of wax, furniture oil or polish every year if you like.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLayers of recycled cardboard and bubble wrap mean 99.5% of our frames arrive without any damage. Maybe 3 frames a year have an issue in delivery and we fix it straight away with our repair or replacement policy. It does happen but is so rare.  A happy customer is our best advertisement.
