The timbers are stored in our recycled shipping container sheds for years. We select the timbers for each frame and try to match them up. There's always a few nail holes, divots, recycling marks, grain, weathering. Something that stands out, sets our frames apart, and has you planning where you're next ones will hang! Be warned, you will be back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe images are very easy to insert. Strong metal flexi-points hold in the backing board and glass. You bend the flexi tabs to install or change the photos. It is very simple to do. There is a strong nylon hanging cord for hanging both ways. They're solid. A recent customer compliment, \"They're made to last\". Some display pics don't show the glass. But yes, they all come with glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDanish oil and a coat of furniture wax seal the timber and highlight the colour and grains. It's a flat and natural finish. You can re-coat with furniture wax once a year if you like. We have 20 year old frames at home, never re coated, and they're still going great.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe wrap several layers of recycled cardboard and some bubble wrap to send them out to you. You get a tracking number. We offer 100% insurance for anything broken or lost. We've used it ........ Twice ? in 2 years. 99.898% success. Our parcels get quite big with the padding. So, we have to charge for delivery. This is a Recycled Australian Hardwood. It has a beautiful grain and as it's recycled, also a few nail holes. The richness of the colour and grain are enriched with two coats of danish oil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShabby Chic White\u003c\/strong\u003e is a pretty antique white flat paint finish which has been slightly sanded back over recycled timber. Our white frames are very popular, especially for the Beachy or Country Cottage look. They will enhance any home decor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWeathered Rustic Grey\u003c\/strong\u003e looks like rustic old fence palings. Years of sun and weather create a patina and appealing natural silvery grey colour.  We don't have to reprocess this timber or treat it. Pictures look wonderful in this.
